Project Mission
The Twin Rivers Center for the Arts is committed to its mission of celebrating, supporting, and promoting local arts and culture through strategic collaboration. As an umbrella organization currently representing an alliance of more than 20 local arts and culture nonprofits, TRCA is:

• Increasing resources for local arts and culture nonprofits through collaboration,
• Fostering connections between nonprofit arts and culture groups, individual artists, arts-related businesses, and area academic institutions,
• Supporting economic growth and vitality by developing Greater Mankato into a regional cultural, artistic, tourism and entertainment destination, and
• Improving the long-term quality of life in Greater Mankato.

Project Goals

Since its inception, TRCA has been steadily moving toward its goal of becoming the “one-stop-shop” for arts and culture in Greater Mankato. Through its central location in the new Emy Frentz Arts Guild, TRCA is working to:

• broaden opportunities for collaboration among arts and cultural groups,
• provide a central location for information about area arts and cultural activities,
• increase ticket sales and broaden audiences for local performances,
• expand community participation and educational opportunities in the arts for all ages and abilities,
• increase the amount of dedicated space for arts and cultural activities,
• increase funding for all arts and cultural organizations; and
• better position the arts within the community overall.
