Minneapolis based theatre company, Sod House Theater in partnership with Twin Rivers, will bring a site-specific adaptation of "An Enemy of the People" by Henrick Ibsen to Sibley Park in Mankato Monday, July 30 and Tuesday, July 31 at 7:00pm

Henrik Ibsen's "An Enemy of the People" examines how a community responds when a local doctor threatens to expose that the water it relies upon for tourism is being poisoned. It questions how far a community will go to protect their town’s secret in order to avoid financial ruin. Sod House Theatre's production is a bluegrass adaptation of the classic play and will shed light on water quality issues surrounding Minnesota as well.

The play will take place in Shelter #3 near the baseball fields at Sibley Park. Please bring a lawn chair and dress for the weather.

This projected is funded in part through an Arts Tour Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.
