The intrepid theatre

The Intrepid Theatre Project (TITP) is a response to art, and theatre in particular, being reduced to a product that must pay for itself. Too often deeper, more complex themes and subjects are abandoned in fear there is no audience for it. However, this limits the artistic expression and growth of community members, removing them from investigation, discovery, and play by regulating this process solely to academia.

Amanda Joy Hauman founded TITP in March of 2017 when she realized that theatre demands you make it rather than wait for it. She invites everyone who wants to sink their teeth into something challenging to join her making unapologetic art for the Mankato community.
